Downpour in New York City

Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass…It’s about learning to dance in the rain.

Getting caught in a downpour in New York City felt like something straight out of a movie. Moments like this are why I love traveling wherever love takes me. What my heart craves the most is capturing the real and the irreplaceable. Cherish your giggles, cherish your awkwardness, cherish the real you. I value clients who will let their hair down, get a little weird, and will trust me during our relaxed time together. And this session in New York was all of that and more. We may not have planned to get caught in the rain, but these two embraced it wholeheartedly. We walked away drenched. And I couldn’t have asked for a better scenario.

It’s been awhile since I’ve re-introduced myself to you. So here are a couple things you should know about me. First of all, this is what fills my cup. Photography is my passion, my craft, my life. I love travelling. Whether its just a state over, across the country, or across the world, if you want me there, I’ll book the flight! New York City was always a bucket list destination for me. And once I went, I was hooked. Every time I shoot here I fall more in love with the city, and even more in love with the people I meet along the way.
