From their very first email I knew that Rachel and Kirk’s Sandpoint wedding was one I needed to help document. These two are so fun and quirky and they love their dog Nelson more than anything in this world. Obviously, they are my kind of people! As your wedding photographer, I want to capture your love from each and every complex angle. I want you to be able to look at your wedding album and see the tender moments, the stolen glances, the real emotion, all of the puppy love and snugs, and everything in between. Take these Nelson pics, for example. The entire collection makes me laugh every time. This feisty fluff had so much spunk and character, and he is just the perfect addition to his parent’s wedding.
If the cute doggo wasn’t enough to make you love this day, you should know that Rachel and Kirk are some of the most amazing humans. These two love so loud. When I asked what they were most excited for, Kirk said seeing her come down the aisle…how precious is that?! And Rachel was so excited for their private first look. We were able to step away for a moment from all the hustle and bustle of their wedding day. It was amazing to find ways to let the light dance over them. That’s when the magic happens.
I want to encourage you to lean in to every aspect of your love. The puppy love that’s new and fresh and exciting, and the mature love that’s slower and deeper and reaches to your core. When you celebrate that dynamic love, it makes for such a beautiful foundation for your happily ever after.
