Montana Elopement | Tessa+ Phil

Your elopement can be whatever you want it to be. Maybe your dream is to elope so that you can save on the budget, or be very eco friendly. Or maybe your dream is an elopement so that you can do everything extra extravagant and over the top. Maybe the allure of an elopement is simply not being around so many people! Whatever it is, hear me when I say this, and I can’t stress this enough: YOUR👏WEDDING👏IS👏WHATEVER👏YOU👏WANT👏IT👏TO👏BE!

The same way that no two stories will ever be the same, no two wedding are either. That really is the best part. Trust me, I’ve been to a ton of weddings. And I can tell you without a doubt that even if you were to do something identically to another couple: same colors, same decor, same venue, same food, etc., the days would still not be the same at ALL. Because it isn’t those things that make your wedding unique. It’s you. Your story. Your love. Those are the things that truly set you and your wedding apart.

Tessa and Phil are quirky, and nerdy, and they make each other laugh. Those giant smiles in their photos? Those are genuine moments caught in time! And I didn’t even have to break out my best dad jokes! It’s impossible to not have a great time when the couple you’re celebrating is so clearly having the time of their lives. I didn’t think it was possible, but this elopement made me fall even more in love with the idea of having a small celebration with just you, the love of your life, and your closest people. Top it off with a location that makes your whole heart sing, and that is a recipe for an absolutely perfect and magical way to say “I do”.

This ceremony was at a beautiful riverfront location in Heron, Montana. The location was special because they’re currently in the process of building a home for Tessa’s dad here. It was so cool to be a part of this elopement. Since the location was already so sentimental, it was was just a bonus that it was also so accessible. It had all of the enchantment of traveling to some far off place, without the cost of airfare. The details of this day were all so well thought out. From the moonshine to the cocoa bar, nothing went untouched by the couple’s personalities. You can even admire their floral arranging talents since they did most of the work themselves! To top it off, The Pack River Store did a huge coursed amazing meal. This place is a true hidden gem.

If you’re considering having your own elopement, let’s chat! I would be honored to be able to come document your love story and capture these moments for you to remember for a lifetime. Your story is beautiful, and special, and worth celebrating.
