What a better way to celebrate your engagement, but having an engagement session where it starts snowing. How PNW of itself to do that?
I love the PNW for so many reasons, but the weather is honestly one of them.
Our weather in Spokane is SO unpredictable. There is an actual meme that circulates once a year that jokes (but is usually spot on) stating what winter we are in. Right now, i’d say we are in 3rd winter. The day before this engagement session, it was 48 degrees. Flash forward to Maegan & Killions session time, it became very PNW and started snowing. Temps dropped, but that didn’t stop them from frolicking in the snow and playing with their puppies!
I know I constantly preach about loving doggos, but I am SERIOUS! Bring them to your session. Whether it’s your engagement photos, wedding, or family photos – they make the photos that much better. These two goofballs really did steal the show. Between the zoomies and kisses they kept blessing us all with, it was such a fun engagement session.
Fun fact: Every single session begins with someone telling me how awkward they are
Here to tell you that EVERY SINGLE PERSON IS AWKWARD. That is who we are as humans. My job? To make you look cute as hell and reassure you that you both are so special and create art that documents your love in the most honest and real way. I think scrolling through my galleries is a great way to see how I work, photograph others, and gain inspiration to put you at ease going into your session with me. Engagement sessions are so important because it not only breaks the ice so to speak with me before your wedding day, but it also lets us vibe and become friends so it’s even more fun and special on your day. You will end up spending the most time with ME on your wedding, so don’t you want to be hanging out with your BFF?
