Joshua Tree Elopement

Golden hour in Joshua Tree National Park is absolute magic.

Golden hour in Joshua Tree National Park is something else

You really just can’t beat Joshua Tree. Between the quirky little town to the absolute beauty of the National Park, it’s the perfect place to have an elopement. This Joshua Tree elopement session was one for the books. It was wild and free, just like these two. The love between these two is so infectious that taking a bad photograph was impossible, I mean just scroll through and see for yourself. This is your PSA to take an extra hour to run wild through your favorite national park to celebrate you love and your elopement.

Facts about Joshua Tree National Park & how to elope there:

Joshua Tree National Park is an American national park in southeastern California, east of San Bernardino and Los Angeles and north of Palm Springs.

This national park is famed for its incredible rock formations

Joshua Tree provides habitat for 813 higher plant species, 46 reptile species, 57 mammal species, and over 250 bird species. The federal register lists one park reptile, the desert tortoise, as threatened and one park plant species, the triple-ribbed milk vetch, as endangered, and one plant species, Parish′s daisy as threatened. In addition there are 49 plant species of special concern being protected within the park. I am a fact nerd so this appeals to me signifiantly.

So how do I elope here?

Well, that is where I come in! Helping plan elopements are my absolute favorite. I also love planning adventure sessions. Part of your elopement package includes me securing all of the appropriate special use permits, location scouting, and making sure you are connected with any vendors you may need to make your day everything you want it to be.

The first step is to decide the type of backdrop you want! Do you want a big rock formation behind you? Should your elopement be at sunrise or sunset? Do you want acres of Joshua Trees behind you? Is a weekday feasible to potentially have less of a crowd? These are all things to consider. I am here to be your soundboard and help you every step of the way in creating the most perfect Joshua Tree Elopement for you and your significant other.

It’s your elopement, make it about you.

The best way to plan your elopement is to think about somewhere that is special to the two of you. Whether it’s a place you’ve been many times or somewhere you’ve wanted to see together for the first time – it’s your day and you are allowed to do whatever you want. Another fun idea if you’re having a larger event is to plan an adventure day post wedding. We can get all dressed up all over again and go somewhere that calls to your heart. There is nothing wrong with getting to wear your outfit twice and being free in a place that makes your heart happy!

Joshua Tree is the perfect place to do all of that and have an amazing elopement. Want to see a few more elopements to give yourself some inspiration? Head over to my blog to check some out! Enjoy some more of my favorites from this epic day below.
