This charming lakeside wedding in Sandpoint, ID. will melt your heart.
The first time I met Tiffany and Cole was on a secluded beach in Kauai at 7 am. It’s always nerve-racking meeting a couple for the first time, even after doing this for years. Leaving their engagement session all of my nervousness went away. I felt like we had been friends forever. Flash forward to this last July, we met again on the shores of Sandpoint, ID. at her parents beautiful lakeside home to celebrate their marriage. AND WHAT A WEDDING DAY IT WAS.
Their friends and family traveled from all over the country to celebrate these two. I felt apart of the family instantly, and you know that is going to be a good day when you feel that way. Lake weddings in Sandpoint might be my favorite.
Tiffany did a traditional hula for Cole to celebrate their marriage and it didn’t leave a dry eye in the crowd
The tradition of the hula dance dates back to ancient times. The elegant, hypnotic dance depicts various emotions and elements of nature. A wedding hula can be performed in several ways—sometimes the bride dances the hula for the groom or, other times, the couple hires a troupe of dancers for a performance during the ceremony. This was one of my favorite things i’ve ever documented at a wedding and I can’t recommend finding something special like this for your own day.
Are you convinced to book a wedding on the lake? I don’t blame you. This wedding was truly just so special to me and I can’t even put into words how happy going through this gallery has made me. Ready to plan your best day ever? Let’s chat!
