Why you ask? Well we are blessed to be in a region that has amazing wildflowers, and parks like Manito that are focused solely on flowers. I love flowers, are you picking up what I am throwing down? While being in the mountains or at a beach is obviously ideal, I think going to our local park and taking engagement photos here can be very special. This Spokane engagement session really brought to life why I think city parks are sometimes overlooked. Living in an urban city that has such a vibrant location almost year round feels very lucky.
Manito park is located on the South Hill in South Spokane.
Some fun facts to know about the park:
Finding a place that is special to the both of you for your engagement session is so important. I just want to put out into the universe that it doesn’t have to be “epic” if that makes sense. Manito park holds a special place in these two’s hearts as it is where he proposed! In fact that bench right above is where they committed to their forever.
Documenting your love is all that matters, and I love to document it in the most honest and real way possible. That starts with your trust!
And obviously I am here to tell you repetitively to BRING YOUR DOG TO YOUR ENGAGEMENT SESSION! Spokane engagement sessions are easy for me because literally everywhere is doggo friendly anymore. Enjoy some of my favorites with the goodest boy around. He really stole the show.
Finding a beautiful location for your Spokane engagement shouldn’t feel hard. We live in the inland northwest which gets ALL four seasons. No matter the type of location you have in mind, I am sure we will be able to choose something that speaks to your heart.
I love living in Spokane, and this engagement session just really showcases one of my favorite reasons as to why. Need some more inspo for your engagement session planning? Look through here to check some places out.
