This session was absolute magic. The beauty of maternity sessions is that you’re not only celebrating your pregnancy. You’re celebrating and documenting your journey through motherhood! It’s a chance to savor the ever fleeting moments of being a parent. I love being able to meet people in this chapter of their lives and walk alongside them as they revel in the absolute magic that is their parenting journey. This motherhood thing is no joke, and it’s not for the faint of heart. So if you want to document and celebrate this magical moment, then I’m all for it.

Crazy to think these views are only a quick drive from my house! We set up for this motherhood shoot in Liberty Lake, Wa. The lake provided a beautiful backdrop with lots of texture. Not to mention that golden hour sun was absolute perfection! We started off just celebrating mom and dad as they enjoyed each other’s company. We took a few moments to just soak in the miracle that they created together. Professional third wheel here – and I LIVE for these moments. When I talk about documenting your love stories, this is it. This love story transcends to this unconditional love for a tiny human that you made from scratch! There is so much beauty in that. Then, because you know I love an adventure, mom got into the lake. These moments are so fun to watch unfold. The images capture the parallels to nature and motherhood.
