This Washington State engagement session had three of my absolute favorite things: love stories, nature, and of course, dogs!
My heart will always say yes to adventures. Luckily for me, the PNW never has any shortage of adventure opportunities. When you’re planning your outdoor engagement session, there are a few things to think about. One, where are you going? If you and your significant other have a particular place that means a lot to you, it’s always fun to create and document some new memories there. Next, consider what you want to be doing. For Alli and Robert, they knew they wanted to include their fur babies, so we picked areas that would be easy to bring the pups along. They also really wanted to go biking, so we mapped out some paths ahead of time to ensure we didn’t get lost, or end up biking where we weren’t supposed to be. Then, make sure your photographer is game! Not everyone wants to/is able to go on a crazy hike with you. If that’s really important to you for your engagement photos, make sure that it is within reason for your particular photographer.
The car is loaded up. We have bikes, we have helmets, we have dogs, we have some beverages. It’s go time! Surrounded by trees and wildflowers, these two lover birds let me be their third wheel, and I loved every minute of it. It helps that I got to pet those two cute floofs after/during the session as well! Thank you two for taking me along on your adventure. I can’t wait to document even more of your love story 💗
