Anna & Jared’s Engagement session at Half Moon Bay was one for the books!
You know that feel when you meet clients that you just know are going to be forever friends? This is that kind of story.
Anna found my work online and booked me for their wedding this August in Leavenworth, but they wanted to do their engagement photos in the San Jose area because that is currently where they reside. If you know me, I will never say no to an adventure, so they flew me down where we spent the day driving out to the beach and telling our best dad jokes.
After running around in the sand and along the shore, we finished out the day at the Golden Gate Bridge after dark where the city illuminated what was already a love on fire.
Come to find out, we both are giant WSU Coug fans, so the rest was history. I may say I do on their wedding day as well.
On our way back into town, we all decided the night couldn’t be over, so we went out and had an amazing steak dinner. I mean the beach, Golden Gate bridge AND a steak dinner?! Get yourself friends like these!
If there is any part of you that wants to do an adventure engagement session.. I HIGHLY recommend it! Not only do you get the coolest pictures, but the stories that come along with it are just as memorable! Choose a place that is special to you. The investment you’re making in these memories to look back on 30 years down the road will be worth it in tenfold. Adventure sessions are getting more popular and I can see why. Just look at these.
Life is about experiences. It should be about doing things that make your heart happy. Let your hair down, think about what matters most, and kick those shoes off so we can feel the sand in our toes.
Have the adventure engagement session, elope on a mountain, eat the cake, shotgun a beer. You only get one life, baby!
