This proposal at Tunnels beach in Hanalei, Kauai will make you smile so big.

Proposals are my absolute favorite. Add in the beauty of Kauai, you have a recipe for perfect memories. I had already had a trip planned to Kauai to relax a little bit prior to my wedding season starting again. A few weeks prior to leaving, I got an email from John asking me if I would be open to photographing his proposal to Madison. I couldn’t believe that the timing worked out! I started the permit process and sent him a bunch of location options. Ultimately, we decided on Tunnels Beach on the North Shore of Kauai!

A ring I will dream about forever…

John proposed with the most stunning engagement ring ever. His grandmother worked in jewelry his whole life so he was able to craft and create a unique ring that reminded him of his beautiful fiance Madison. He even had the band engraved with his initials which was the sweetest touch.

After the initial surprise, we wandered the gorgeous beach and took some pre-engagement photos to celebrate such a big day in their lives. They called their parents. They smiled, they laughed, they cried, and it was the most beautiful and perfect day on the north shore of Kauai for a proposal.
