Glacier National Park Engagement Session

These two cuties took a trip across the country to hike and camp at one of the most beautiful places on Earth – Glacier National Park! We met at the top of Logan pass where we frolicked in the beautiful fall colors and created some of my favorite engagement photos to date.

Creating engagement photos while respecting the landscape and place that we are taking them is so important to me. Staying on trails in National parks is the only way to take epic photos while practicing leave no trace. If you aren’t familiar, check out this website to learn about it.

Why you should have engagement photos done in Glacier National Park:

Well, if these photos don’t do it for you I don’t know what will. Within an hour you can go from glacier clear lakes, to rivers, to forest groves, to mountain vistas… and depending on the time of year you might even get 2-3 seasons during that drive. I love how unpredictable and versatile this park is, it really lends and leans into being one of the absolute best places to work in.

After we spent some time with the rolling views and glacier peaks, we headed down to Lake Mcdonald to take some along the river and end with photos of them with their pup. Bringing your doggo to national parks can be challenging but don’t sweat, I will find the spots we can work with them too!

All in all, it was a perfect day at Glacier National Park for this engagement session, and I already can’t wait to head back there next month.
