When it comes to Spokane weather, unpredictable feels like an understatement! So if you’re opting for an indoor wedding, that logic actually plays out really well. Now don’t get me wrong, I’m always down to trek through a downpour, get caught in a sow storm, or take stunning photos in the rain. But there’s something comforting about the reliability of the temperature in an indoor wedding venue.
The best of both worlds
One thing you’ll notice about me as a photographer: I’m always down for an adventure! We can go on a hike, climb some mountains, or even just take a walk around the city. When you choose an indoor wedding venue, that doesn’t necessarily mean that ALL of your photos have to be inside! We definitely hit the jackpot with this venue in that it has stunning backdrops around every corner. It just felt right though to step outside and take in a little bit of the gorgeous light, let the foliage add to our vibes, and let the city itself play background to my couple’s love story.
Falling in love
When I tell you I fell head over heels in love with my couple, their love, AND this space during this wedding. You know that love that everyone else can just feel radiating off of you? That was this! Even looking back at the photos, the way they looked at one another told me everything I needed to know about their bond. The tears. Oh the tears! Every first look. Each time a new friend or family member saw the bride to be. Tears. And that’s really the goal right? To be surrounded by people who are moved to weep by the sheer thought of how much they love you? That’s my goal anyways!
Thank you so much for asking me to document your perfect day. I’m so glad to have you two as my clients turned friends. And I am so honored that I got to immortalize these memories for you. Here’s to a lifetime of happiness, and all the smiles you can handle.
