Iceland couples sessions in lupine forever

This gorgeous Iceland couples session took place in late June during Summer Solstice. This means that there is roughly 24 hours of daylight. Would you believe me if I told you that this was in the evening? The south coast of Iceland is in my top 3 favorite places in the world that i’ve been. The landscape is so lush and changes around every corner you turn. From black sand beaches to fields of lupine, you are sure to find something beautiful every time you blink your eyes.

Madison + Geoff are two of my favorite humans on the planet. This session was very hard for me because I knew that not even 48 hours later, Geoff was surprising her after their trip in Iceland by whisking her away to Paris and PROPOSING! Keeping that secret was torture, but oh my gosh was it worth it. She had no idea and the proposal went off magically!

After we wandered around in the lupine we went to the infamous Skogfoss – seen behind them in the picture above. The waterfall was insane and vast and made us feel so small. Truly a day in Iceland will make you feel that way, but in the best way. I love feeling small in landscape.
