POV: You meet me in Kauai and we take the most beautiful engagement photos at sunrise.
Seriously, that’s what really happened. Tiffany and Cole are having their wedding in Sandpoint, ID. where she is from and they thought why the heck not – let’s take some beautiful island engagement photos! Going on an adventure to showcase this phase in your life is such a fun away to celebrate. Not only do you get to take a little trip just the two of you, but it’s another way to celebrate your love.
When in Kauai, right? We rose at sunrise and met up at the famous Tunnels Beach for their engagement photos.
Something to note – you ABSOLUTELY need a permit when photographing any session in Hawaii. I am incredibly familiar with the process and happy to take care of it.
Why I think Kauai is the best place for you to celebrate your engagement:
- It’s Kauai. Have you looked it up? It’s lush, it’s green, the beaches are pristine….
- It’s less touristy. If you rise before 9am, you are likely to have most of the beaches on the North Shore to yourself. My favorite place to stay is Princeville because of the surroundings and quick access to the prettiest beaches ever.
- Did you look at the photo above? Those are plants I only dream about growing in Washington.
It’s clear that wherever you go, I will celebrate your love. But if you have been considering going on a trip somewhere special to the two of you, I fully recommend letting me tag along. Kauai Engagement sessions have become an absolute favorite of mine and I will always hop on a plane to enjoy the island with you. After your engagement session, let’s go enjoy some delicious Hawaiian coffee or food together. We can make it a whole damn experience!
